How it works
Counts and waste is part of Wady Central, the paid system for kitchens in Qatar: one system for your stock, recipes, purchasing and kitchen costs. It fits one café, and it fits a group with outlets and a central kitchen. Count in sacks and grams. A blank line means not counted, and only a typed 0 means none. Waste goes in with your own reasons, and its cost shows in riyals.

Do I have to count on screen, or can I use paper?
Both work. Print a sheet, walk the shelf with a pen, then type or paste the results back in. Or type straight into the screen. Either way, the system does the sacks-and-grams multiplication.
What happens if I skip an item?
Nothing. Leave it blank and its balance stays as it is. Type 0 when you checked and found none.
Who checks the differences after a count?
You do, on the review screen, before anything is saved. The likely typos sit at the top.
Do I have to count the whole store every time?
No. Count as many items as the shift allows. Everything you don't touch stays exactly as it was.
How do I record a wasted item?
One line on the shift's waste sheet: the item, the reason from your own list, and its cost worked out as it's typed. The photo is optional, not required.
